Musical Color Bug Instructions
Battery Installation
Requirements: 3 AAA batteries (not included), Phillips-head screwdriver (not included).
Caution: Batteries must be installed by an adult.
We recommend using non-rechargeable batteries.
- Use Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen battery cover screw on bottom of unit. Remove any used batteries and dispose properly.
- Insert three (3) AAA batteries. Ensure direction matches diagram inside battery case.
- Replace battery cover and tighten screw.
Getting Started
2. Slide switch to desired volume setting to power on.
Music Mode
1. Press the green music note button to activate Music Mode. Music will play when you color! Music stops when coloring stops.
2. Hear a different song each time you press — 6 unique songs total!
Color Bug Mode
1. Press the orange ladybug button to activate Color Bug Mode.
2. Try different coloring motions to discover the correlating silly sound effects!
Cleanup
- Turn switch to “OFF” (O) position when not in use.
- Remove markers from unit and cap securely.
- Wipe any marks from unintended surfaces clean with a damp cloth or paper towel. DO NOT IMMERSE UNIT IN WATER.

Requires 3 AAA batteries 4.5 V (DC). Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
