1. Melted Crayon Pumpkin
Pumpkin carving may be tradition, but it’s not always an activity you’ll want to try with little ones. Instead, create your very own colorful melted crayon pumpkin. All you need is some crayons, glue, and a hair dryer. Oh, and a pumpkin. Definitely don’t forget the pumpkin.
2. 3D Pumpkin Patch
This pumpkin craft is awesome for older kids, teens, and adults alike! Follow our craft tutorial to create your very own 3D Pumpkin Patch. Kids will have a frightful good time decorating their patches – especially if you use our Color Explosion paper and color reveal markers, which are the real magic behind this craft! The end result will be a glowing pumpkin patch, no watering required.
3. Full Harvest Cornucopia
Looking for the perfect centerpiece to complete your fall motif? Have your kids get busy crafting this gorgeous cornucopia complete with the best of what nature has to offer this season. Think pumpkins, gourds, carrots and more! When finished, you’ll have an adorable piece of art that can double as a centerpiece at the kids’ table on Thanksgiving. Best yet, you can pull them out year after year to enjoy.
4. Glowing Ghoulies
Illuminate your windows by creating our Glowing Ghouls! The trick to these paper cut-out pumpkins is the use of transparency paper for the eyes, nose and mouth. Your kids will have a blast bringing them to life with a flashlight or other light source. Consider stringing them all together in a festive banner that can be hung over a doorway, for use at home or in the classroom.
5. Creepy Trick or Treat Path
Let kids share their Halloween artwork outside with Crayola sidewalk paint and chalk! Think Jack-o-lanterns, bats, spiders and more – let your artist’s creativity shine and allow them to brew up their very own eerie masterpiece. Spring for the glow-in-the-dark version of our chalk and outside paints to ensure a ghoulish nighttime walk for your guests!
6. Glow Webs (or Pumpkins!)
Usually we’re trying to rid our house of spider webs, but when it comes time for Halloween, we can’t get enough of ‘em! Though our tutorial uses spider webs, you can use the same idea and artistic tools to make a Jack-o-Lantern’s eyes and grin really glow! Let your kiddies create their very own glowing pumpkins and webs using a variety of Crayola goods. You can also check out our Washable Window Markers to draw spooky decorations directly onto your windows. This is a perfect craft for the home or classroom!
7. Pick of the Season Globe
Enhance fine motor skills while stretching imaginations with our Pick of the Season Globe tutorial. Using our Model Magic, kids will love sculpting their very own miniatures, which are charmingly housed under a clear plastic cup.
