Crayola-approved Snow Day Activities with the Kids

When you’re a school kid, a snow day is pretty much the best thing that can happen to you. An unexpected day off from school – with snow? Seriously, can it get much better for an eight-year-old?

But parents, we can practically hear the unanimous 7 a.m. groan when you find out your entire day has just been derailed. Between calling out of work and canceling plans comes the responsibility of managing your child’s free time. The only thing worse than a snow day is hearing “I’m bored” all day long.

We might not be able to provide a sitter, but we can share some awesome snow day activities to keep your kids happy and engaged! Below you’ll find some of our favorite snow day ideas for kids of all ages that both parents and children will love.
