How to remove Washable Sidewalk Chalk from brick

1. Spray the chalk marks with a garden hose until the area is wet.

2. Prepare a cleaning solution of warm water and dish soap in a separate container or spray bottle for easy application. Generously apply the solution to the stained area.

3. Use a stiff bristle brush to scrub the area in a circular motion, applying more soapy water, as needed.

4. Rinse the area with the garden hose to remove any soap and chalk residue.

5. If any colorant remains, apply a mildly abrasive cleaner, such as Soft Scrub (without bleach) and continue to scrub the area with a stiff bristle brush.

6. Rinse then repeat the process, as needed, until no colorant remains.

Stain removal suggestions are provided as a service to consumers. While our methods have been successful in testing, we are unable to guarantee results. Before attempting the removal method, test each procedure on an inconspicuous area of the material or surface to be cleaned. In some cases, it may be best to consult a professional cleaner for recommendations.

When specific brands are recommended it is because they were most effective removing stains; however, competitive brands may work equally as well.

These stain removal methods are intended for adult-use only. Check individual containers for recommended use and warnings.
